Founded by Henry Cummings, Park Slope native, and Mark Thomas, seasoned hospitality professional, Light Switch is their take on the modern Local. From day to night, Light Switch offers locally sourced coffee and beer, an approachable wine menu, non-alcoholic alternatives, pastries, baguettes, and elevated bar bites. Located on the border of the ever-changing Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill neighborhoods, Light Switch reflects on NYC's history, featuring reclaimed wood from NYC water towers, Coney Island boardwalk, and Roosevelt Island's Blackwell Hospital.

The buildout of the space was led by Carroll Gardens native Dylan Schultz, the menu was designed by first-time chef and Cobble Hill native Harrison Anastasio, and the wine menu is curated by Hannah Small, Park Slope native, all childhood friends of Henry. The space transitions from a relaxed morning setting to a bustling evening prime for a night out with friends or a date either sitting at a table or the bar, back in the snug, or in the big backyard.
